It started with Caroline Everitt and Sarah Snyder hosting an incredible brunch, where I over indulged on too much great food. Mom (did we decided Gigi??) was able to come into town with Dad (Pompi) and join us to celebrate Mike's (Pappa) 60th birthday. And all the Stopulos sisters were also able to make it for both celebrations. It was so wonderful and we were blessed by so many useful goodies for Baby Stop, including bedding, diaper caddy and a humidifer. AND guests were asked to bring a book instead of a card so Baby Stop has quite the library now to start a passion for reading.
The next weekend Laura Garwood and Erin Block hosted a "Girls Nite Out" shower for Susie and me (who was due the same day!). We partied and again, were blessed with so many wonderful gifts, including bath stuff, a boppie and many University of Iowa clothes and goodies. We stayed up late (3AM!) and ended with a sleepover at Laura's house.
What great times and wonderful friends I have!!!
